Covid 19
The changes are needed here to help protect you from infection. We will have the lead member’s name and address required for track and tracing if needed.
We are observing social distancing as far as possible 1+ metres apart and the stairs are single traffic so if someone coming down, we wait then go up.
On arrival please call us and we will come to your car to take temperature using no-contact forehead scan and if showing a fever, we will not be able to let you in but instead you will need to contact the NHS 111 service and get back home. One way into the house from the carpark and exit from the front.
Card payment is via a small card reader, sanitised and handed to you, enabling your card to be inserted and pin number entered. We use mobile phone to register the payment and can send text confirmation of receipt.
Keys are already in the room pre sanitised for you along with the usual complimentary items.
We check temperature before Breakfast room entry. We no longer offer self-service breakfast cereals and fruit juices instead have opted for an order-only service. We will bring the items to your table where you will find everything you need ready for your use. We will bring you milk for cereal and drinks in a jug.
Post breakfast all tables are stripped and sanitised along with the breakfast room.
We sanitise all public areas for each arrival and multiple times throughout the day.
Should a guest become infected with the virus showing signs of temperature, dry cough and breathing difficulties they will be required to isolate in their rooms and contact NHS 111 for instructions. A new number has appeared to request testing, 119.
Smokers
The accommodation is Non Smoking and has been since 2004. Please abide by the law that does NOT allow smoking inside the building, nor anywhere in the grounds unless by e-cigarettes. No smoking laws came into effect on 1st July 2007 please obey the law. Thank you.
Dog Owners
Dogs are welcome in selected rooms [ excludes July to September ] but on the condition they are not left alone in the rooms at any time.
Children
We no longer have a family room but have the facilities to accept young adults over 16 in specially selected rooms if staying with adult.
Damage
Please take care of our accommodation. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may charge you for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant. Contamination of a room for any reason will result in a cleaning charge and if the room is not available a charge for each day the room is uninhabitable.
Cancellation :
During the pandemic there will be no cancellation fee.
Arrival to book in between 3pm and 6pm. Checkout by 10am on day of departure.
The booking is for those guests named in the confirmation and is NOT TRANSFERABLE.
Internet
Internet access is provided on a free basis with no guarantees of availability, speed or site access. Restrictions apply and access is code activated.
